Bob Mann, president, called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. The Board Association

Minutes of August 11th, 2016 were read and approved.

Treasurer’s Report: No treasurer’s report. Bank Statement has not been received for August.

Social Committee Report: Mollie Mann reported:

Upcoming Events:

September 24th: The End of Summer Social. 5pm Happy Hour, 6pm dinner (ribs, chili beans, cornbread): $15 each resident or guest.

October 29th: Lasagna Dinner Happy Hour 5-6:00 pm Dinner served at 6:00 ( lasagna, salad, ice cream) Reservation deadline Saturday, Oct 22nd.

December 11th: Christmas Dinner – will be a traditional dinner. Details in The Voice.

DPG Report: DPG meets quarterly and is recruiting new members.

Some residents are worried as they have no Block Captains. Need more volunteers.

Steve Roth suggested that the DPG account ($1,560.00) dovetail into the HOA checking account. Paul Ortega thought they could put it in a savings account. DPG liked the idea, motion made, seconded and passed.

Online Committee Report: None

Old Business

Bylaws Revisions: HOA members have received the ballots and they are due by September 30th.

Flood Zone: Space #211 has been pulled out and it has been determined that it is NOT in the Flood Zone.

Caltrans: More needs to be done. The palm trees still need to be trimmed at the SR154 on ramp from Cathedral Oaks by Caltrans. We need to keep sending in service requests regarding these dangerous conditions to http://www.dot.ca.gov/hq/maint/msrsubmit/. More contact information in our clubhouse lobby.

Lease for SVMHP: As you know lease is up at the end of June of 2017. The Sisters of Charity may take over sooner. J & H Asset Management seems to be doing a good job over at Rancho.

Red Tags: Seems to be no more lately in our Park

Speeding: 2nd verse…..Speeding on Gatehouse Road and other streets is still being reported. When giving anyone information on finding your home, be sure to tell them about the need to drive slowly, no more than 10 mph in the park. Please remind caregivers, family, etc. We are having too many near-misses and don’t want anyone to get hurt.

Announcements/New Business/Guest Questions

Dirt in the creek: Bob and Jack walked down to look at this after last months’ meeting. The path of the water had been augured out this area so this dirt was used to patch it.

New residents/HOA: HOA board members will visit new residents to see if they want to join for the remainder of the year. Membership for next year coming in rent envelopes in January. Board needs to bullet point their accomplishments.

Resident concerns: A resident had a concern that a neighbor who is renting has a adult child living with them who is obviously not 55 or over. It is the owners’ responsibility of the rental unit to solve this.

Bridgework at Calle Real and Old Mill Rd: Bob Mann called the County to see if and when the repairs of the fire damage would get started. County apologized for the delay but there had been a lot of buck passing between St. Vincent’s, SB City and SB County as to WHO was going to do the job. County has gotten started now.

Parking Pass for guests: Use this parking pass for guests that will be staying overnight. This is not for street parking all night but to park in Visitor Parking overnight.

The next Board meeting is Thursday, October 13th, 2016 at 7 P.M. in the Clubhouse.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:53 pm.
